Description
Casa Obsidiana Tequila Reposado is made from Blue Weber agave and rested four months in French oak casks that previously held Napa Valley Chardonnay. The bottle’s blue hue mirrors the agave plants behind the spirit, a nod to water’s transformative influence. 750 ml, 40% ABV.
The cask time builds a layered profile of hazelnut, toffee and charred peppers, set against butterscotch, vanilla and earthy agave. On the palate it is smooth and balanced, with cooked agave, citrus and vanilla leading to a hint of pepper spice on the finish.
Recognition includes 95 points and a place among the Top 100 Spirits of 2024 from Wine Enthusiast, Double Gold at both the New York World Spirits Competition and the Tequila Mezcal Challenge, plus honors from The Spirits Business and the Sip Awards.
