Description
Casa Obsidiana Tequila Blanco is a 750 ml blanco bottled at 40% ABV. After distillation it rests for 16 days in French oak casks previously used for Napa Valley Chardonnay, a short finishing period that adds subtle complexity while leaving the agave character intact.
The nose opens with papaya, white flowers, vanilla, and allspice. On the palate, black pepper and vegetal undertones play against a lush, velvety mouthfeel, with cooked agave and citrus carrying through to a finish marked by a hint of pepper spice.
The expression has received 96 points from The Tasting Panel, along with Double Gold medals from the New York World Spirits Competition and the Sip Awards.
