Bottled at 40% ABV in a 750 ml format, Mil Imperios A\u00f1ejo Cristalino MMXVI is an a\u00f1ejo tequila that has been filtered after its extended time in oak, stripping the color while keeping the character built during aging. The result is a clear spirit with the depth of a barrel-aged tequila.
The palate runs smooth with agave at the center, backed by oak influence, vanilla and caramel, and finished with a lift of citrus. MMXVI marks this as a special edition release from Casa Imperios, produced in limited quantity.
