Description
Cardenal Mendoza Solera Gran Reserva is a Spanish brandy bottled at 40% ABV in a 750 ml format. It is matured through the traditional solera system, in which brandies of different vintage years are blended progressively to hold the house character steady from bottle to bottle.
Extended time in ex-sherry casks shapes the spirit, giving it depth and a complex profile. The nose and palate carry dried fruit, oak, caramel and vanilla, with a clear sherry influence running through.
The finish is refined, closing with a complex warmth drawn from the long cask maturation.
