A 27-year-old unpeated single malt from Caperdonich, the lost Speyside distillery that closed in 2002. Part of Pernod Ricard’s Secret Speyside collection, this is the classic, unpeated face of Caperdonich. It was matured exclusively in first-fill American oak and bottled at a natural 49.2% ABV (98.4 proof) without chill filtration. Caperdonich was built in 1898 beside Glen Grant in Rothes and demolished in 2010, so whatever stock remains is all there will ever be. Expect the house style at full maturity: bright orchard fruit, vanilla and honey, with nearly three decades of oak adding depth. 700ml.
