Made in the Dominican Republic and imported from there, Candela Mamajuana Botanical Rum starts with 100% single-origin sugarcane juice rather than molasses. The spirit rests in American Oak ex-Bourbon casks, then takes on an infusion of natural Mamajuana botanicals that gives the rum its smooth, recognizable character at 30% ABV in a 750 ml bottle.
The result is a complex, refreshing rum whose Mamajuana spices hold on the palate well after each sip. It works poured over ice, taken as a shot, or built into cocktails, keeping the botanical flavor that made Mamajuana a Caribbean staple.
