Campo Azul 1940 Reposado is a Mexican tequila rested in oak barrels and bottled at 40% ABV in a 750 ml bottle. The time in wood shapes a style that sits between the brightness of a blanco and the depth of an añejo.
Agave sweetness leads, joined by vanilla oak and caramel, with a thread of citrus brightness running through. The finish is smooth, with the agave character still present alongside the barrel notes.
A balanced reposado built on careful aging, with vanilla-tinged smoothness carried over the agave base.
