Description
Piak Rouge MAGNUM is a natural wine crafted by , in the Loire region in . This red wine is made with 100% grapes, which offer a little spice and vegetal freshness, offering a bouquet of cranberry and violets whilst the palette delivers on red cherries, green bell peppers with some mild tannic structure than makes it very good value for a food wine.
Piak Rouge in magnum
The same Piak Rouge in a 1.5 litre bottle, which is exactly the size you want for a table of friends and a big pot of something. Magnums also age a little slower than normal bottles, so this one keeps its freshness longer once you have it at home.
How is it made?
100% Grolleau, destemmed, with one part macerated on skins for about 10 days and another part going through roughly 15 days of carbonic maceration. The two are blended at pressing and rested for a couple of months in fibreglass tank.
