Time in oak gives Calle 23 Reposado a rounder shape without burying the agave underneath it. Cooked agave leads, followed by light oak and a touch of honey, with pepper showing up on the finish. Bottled at 40% ABV in a 700 ml format, this rested expression sits between the unaged and longer-matured styles, holding onto its bright agave core while picking up gentle wood character from the barrel.
