Description
Bulleit Single Barrel comes from individually chosen barrels, each one bottled on its own rather than blended. The recipe pairs Bulleit’s signature yeast with a high-rye mash bill containing up to 36% rye, and the whiskey rests at least 8 years in new, charred American white oak. The result is a bold flavor profile that differs from barrel to barrel.
The first sip brings a mild spice that gives way to maple, oak and nutmeg. It closes long and dry with a satiny texture and a trace of light toffee. Bottled at 52% ABV in a 750 ml bottle, it works neat or over ice.
