Description
Buffalo Trace Distillery White Dog Rye Mash is the raw, clear distillate that comes off the still before any time in wood. It is drawn from the distillery’s straight rye mash bill and bottled un-aged at 125 proof (62.5% ABV) in a 375 ml bottle.
The character is seriously spicy, carried by a hint of rye, with some corn sweetness and a lingering earthiness through the finish.
White dog is whiskey in its earliest form: high-proof, unaged and undiluted by barrel influence, showing the grain recipe on its own terms.
