Description
Black Art 11.1 comes from Bruichladdich’s experimental side, where bourbon and sherry casks are brought together to build layers into a single malt. Bottled in 2023 at 44.2% ABV in a 750 ml format, this Islay whisky sets its peat character against sweeter, oak-driven notes.
The palate moves through peat smoke and sea salt into dried fruit and chocolate, with oak vanilla and a warming spice thread running underneath. It is a dynamic Islay pour aimed at drinkers who follow cask selection closely.
