Description
Brother’s Bond Bottled in Bond is a high-rye straight bourbon from actors Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley. It follows the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897. That means one distillery, one season and 100 proof. It ages at least seven years in deep-charred barrels and is non-chill filtered.
The mash is 51% corn, 39% rye and 10% malted rye. You will smell candied plum, cherry, port, brown sugar and caramel. The palate brings raisin, fig jam, butterscotch, toffee, maple and cinnamon. Oak, vanilla and caramel linger on a long, warm finish.
It won Double Gold at San Francisco in 2024 and 2025. It also took Double Gold at the 2024 New York International Spirits Competition.
Sip it neat or over one large cube. It also makes a rich Old Fashioned.
