Tepeztate is among the less common agaves used for mezcal, and Bozal bottles it on its own at 45% ABV in a 750 ml format. The maguey brings a pronounced mineral streak alongside herbal, earthy layers that unfold with some complexity. Made with traditional production methods, this single-maguey bottling keeps the focus on one agave variety rather than a blend, reflecting Bozal’s interest in mezcal’s terroir and the botanical range of the plants behind it.
