Distilled entirely from Cuishe agave, this joven mezcal from Bozal arrives at 47% ABV in a 750 ml bottle. Working with a single maguey variety in small batches keeps the character of the plant and its growing conditions front and center. The result leans on smoky complexity layered over mineral earth, with herbaceous agave running through the palate and a subtle citrus lift. It’s a straightforward look at what careful, traditional mezcal production draws out of one agave type.
