Fifteen years of maturation in sherry oak give this Islay single malt a sweeter, fruitier frame around its smoke. The cask influence brings dried fruit and warm spice, while Bowmore’s peat character holds steady underneath at 43% ABV. The result is a 700 ml bottling where smoke and sherry sit in balance rather than competing — a mature expression of Islay whisky with layers of oak, fruit sweetness and peat running through it.
