Twelve years in the barrel shape this Guatemalan rum, bottled at 40% ABV in a 700ml bottle. The extended maturation shows up as caramel depth and oak tannins, with tropical fruit and a vanilla smoothness running through the palate. The long aging period builds layers of flavor rather than a single note, giving the rum a rounded, sipping-friendly character. It sits in the premium aged category, where time in wood does most of the work.
