Description
Blanton’s Gold Edition Barrel Select #117 is a single barrel of Blanton’s Gold, hand-selected by the team through the Sazerac Barrel Select program at Buffalo Trace Distillery. Drawn from barrel 20-E-11A-H-04-027-117 and aged in the famed Warehouse H, the metal-clad warehouse that is home to every Blanton’s barrel, it was distilled from Buffalo Trace’s high-rye Mashbill #2 and bottled at 103 proof in September 2026. The barrel yielded just 264 bottles, each with the signature horse-and-jockey stopper and the Sazerac Barrel Select medallion.
The nose opens with honey, orange peel, and caramel over toasted oak. The palate is rich and full, with dark caramel, dried fruit, vanilla, and rye spice, and the finish is long and warm with leather, baking spice, and charred oak. Barrel Select #117 is a limited, one-time release for Blanton’s collectors and single barrel bourbon fans.
