Barrel Craft Spirits Foundation Double Barrel Straight Bourbon 5 Year is matured in two separate barrels, a process that builds layered oak and vanilla complexity into the finished whiskey. The bourbon is bottled at 50% ABV in a 750 ml bottle.
Five years of aging places this expression between the spice of a younger bourbon and the smoothness of a more mature one. The double-barrel approach draws out rich wood character while keeping the essential bourbon profile intact.
Look for vanilla, caramel, oak spice, bourbon char and toasted nuts across the nose and palate.
