Barrell Decade is a blend of Canadian whiskeys distilled each year from 1995 through 2005, then finished in Kentucky in Spanish brandy casks and Hungarian oak casks. It is bottled at 142.7 proof (71.35% ABV). Expect vanilla and caramel with dried fruit such as raisins and figs from the brandy casks, plus toffee and cinnamon. The Hungarian oak adds fine tannins that give the whiskey a smooth, silky texture. One 750 ml bottle.
