Description
Bardstown Discovery Series #13 is a blend of selected Kentucky bourbon finished with the influence of Hungarian and American oak. This limited-edition release is the first double-barreled expression in the Discovery series, bottled at 55.4% ABV in a 750 ml format.
Double barreling in Hungarian oak builds on the blend’s core character of caramel, vanilla and dry fruit, layering in baking spice, campfire ash, clove, cinnamon and toffee. The result is bold and layered, with depth drawn from the interaction of the component whiskeys and the two oak types.
A blend-driven bourbon for drinkers who follow how barrel selection and blending shape a finished whiskey.
