Description
Bottled without aging at 47% ABV, Banhez Mezcal Artesanal Joven Maguey Mexicano comes from several maguey varieties worked by hand using long-standing artisanal techniques. The 750 ml bottle holds a joven mezcal shaped entirely by the plants and the process rather than time in wood.
Smoke leads the way, followed by earthy roasted agave, herbal layers and a mineral thread that speaks to Oaxacan terroir. A spicy finish closes it out, keeping the traditional character of the region front and center.
