Description
BAHA Irish Whiskey Tara Blend is a soft, easygoing blend of grain and malt whiskeys. It is made in the traditional Irish style, with a smooth finish. The whiskey is aged for at least three years. It is then finished in oak casks and bottled at 40% ABV.
BAHA distills in Ireland’s North East, where its barley is grown. Spring water from the Cooley Mountains goes into the whiskey. The knot on the bottle stands for a lasting bond between loyal friends.
Freshly cut hay and virgin oak greet you on the nose, with fresh fruit and a little spice. The palate is lightly oaked, with delicate vanilla and good balance. It feels medium-bodied and gentle. The finish has moderate length, with balanced sweetness, soft malt and a touch of oaky spice.
Pour it neat, over ice or with a splash of water. It also mixes well in an Irish Coffee, a Whiskey Sour, a Highball or a Whiskey Ginger.
