Drawn from sites across the Willamette Valley’s varied sub-AVAs, Averaen Pinot Noir is intended to show the region as a whole rather than a single vineyard. Cool Pacific influence, volcanic soils and marine sediments help shape the winery’s pursuit of expressive Oregon Pinot Noir.
The familiar Averaen style layers juicy dark cherry, cranberry and blackberry with clove, citrus and vanilla nuances. Its texture is generous and plush, while fresh acidity keeps the palate vivid and composed, creating a regional Pinot Noir with both depth and an energetic finish.
