Auchentoshan Single Malt Virgin Oak is a Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky matured in virgin oak casks, bottled at 46% ABV in a 750 ml format. The fresh wood shapes the spirit directly, giving bold vanilla and pronounced oak character.
On the palate, virgin oak vanilla leads into spice, citrus brightness and light fruit, carried by a creamy mouthfeel and a fresh finish.
The use of non-traditional casks reflects the distillery’s experimentation with maturation, resulting in a whisky with distinctive flavor intensity and a modern style.
