Description
Arette Artesanal Añejo Tequila is made in the town of Tequila, Jalisco, under NOM 1109. It rests for about 20 months in used bourbon barrels. That time in wood builds a rich, complex profile. You get cooked agave, vanilla and toasted nuts. Light oak and a touch of citrus round it out. It feels soft and smooth in the mouth. The finish is long and gently peppery. It is also additive-free, so the agave and barrel speak for themselves.
