Description
Named for the equilibrium it aims for, Ardray “Exquisite Balance” brings malt and grain whiskies together in a 700ml bottle bottled at 48% ABV. Malt sweetness leads, followed by the smooth texture of grain whisky, a warmth of spice, quiet fruit notes and oak that sits within the blend rather than above it.
The higher strength holds the finer flavours in place while giving the whisky a warming edge, so it reads clearly taken neat or opened up with a little water. It is an expression built around the craft of Scottish blending, where separate component whiskies are drawn into a single, coherent whole.
