Description
Ardbeg Ten Years Old Cask Strength is the amplified, untamed evolution of one of Islay’s most iconic single malts. Long revered by the Ardbeg Committee, this special release answers the call of peat lovers by presenting the classic Ardbeg 10 profile in its purest, most powerful form—straight from the cask.
Matured in American oak ex-bourbon barrels, this whisky captures the distillery’s signature “peaty paradox,” where intense smoke meets surprising sweetness. At cask strength, every element is heightened: the maritime character, the earthy peat, and the underlying malt richness all surge forward with remarkable depth and complexity.
This is Ardbeg in full voice—bold, smoky, and unapologetically expressive—yet still balanced by a core of elegance and craftsmanship.
