This is very ripe though it stops short of being roasted on the dark berry fruit nose. There is reasonably good vibrancy to the suave, supple and refined flavors that terminate in a mildly tangy and warm finish that flirts with dryness. I suspect that the dryness is more due to the abundant gas than under ripe tannins.
