(from a tiny .085 ha parcel in Charmes proper which is enough in most vintages for only 1 barrel). Once again, the wood and menthol influence isn’t subtle though neither does it mask the cool aromas of various dark berries, newly turned earth and forest floor wisps. The succulent, round and utterly delicious middleweight flavors possess good if not excellent intensity before terminating in a youthfully austere focused and moderately firm finale that could also use better depth. Note that while this should easily repay a decade plus of keeping, it could be enjoyed after only 5-ish or so years.
