Description
Angel’s Envy Cask Strength Bourbon 2023 is bottled at full strength, 59.1% ABV, after finishing in port barrels. Only a small number of barrels are judged exceptional enough for that lengthy finishing step, and the whiskey is left to reach the maturity level the distillery is looking for before any of it is bottled.
The aroma leads with rich caramel and vanilla, followed by layers of oak and toasted nuts. The finish is smooth, with a sweetness that lingers well past the sip. Packaged in a 750 ml bottle.
