Alma del Jaguar Añejo Apple Brandy Cask

Alma del Jaguar Añejo Apple Brandy Cask

Part of the Alma del Jaguar Barricas Series, this limited añejo spends its final stretch in French oak casks that previously held Calvados, the apple brandy of northern France. Bottled at 44% ABV in a 750 ml format, it shows how a specific barrel can reshape the character of aged tequila. Cooked agave opens the pour, followed by French oak and warm spice. Sweet cinnamon apple and a touch of pear fill out the middle, and the finish stays smooth with a gentle spiced edge drawn from that apple brandy heritage.
