Straight off the still and into the bottle, 291 Colorado White Dog Rye Whiskey never sees a barrel. This 750 ml release captures rye in its unaged form, with the grain’s own character front and center rather than anything contributed by oak. Bottled at 50.8% ABV, it carries assertive rye spice alongside notes of black and white pepper, backed by high-proof warmth. It’s the starting point every aged rye begins from, poured before time in wood reshapes it.
